About the Center

The Sabri Ülker Center for Nutrient, Genetic, and Metabolic Research was established at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health in 2014 thanks to a generous $24 million commitment from the Ülker Family of İstanbul, Turkey, to support the research of Professor Gökhan S. Hotamışlıgil and his laboratory within the Department of Molecular Metabolism.

About Sabri Ülker

The Ülker family established the Sabri Ülker Food Research Foundation in 2009 to support scientific contributions in food, nutrition, and health.

Our First Sabri Ülker Fellows

In 2015, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health welcomed two Ülker Center Fellows: Dr. Güneş Parlakgül and Dr. Ekin Güney.
