Kayla is originally from California and moved to Boston to start her position at the Sabri Ülker Center in November 2021. She has a bachelor’s in Women and Gender studies from San Francisco State University and is also a member of the Department of Molecular Metabolism’s equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging committee.
